The Toqi’maliaptmu’k Arrangement
For years, Kwilmu’kw Maw-klusuaqn has been working to build a stronger relationship with Parks Canada. This has led to the drafting of the Toqi’maliaptmu’k Arrangement, which is a co-governance and co-management plan for National Parks and Historic Sites in Nova Scotia.
Under the conditions of the Made-In-Nova Scotia Process, we are now sharing the draft arrangement with the Mi’kmaq of Nova Scotia so they have time to read, review and understand the document before it is finalized and signed.
