Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Communications Specialist is responsible for managing communications for their assigned portfolio, ensuring that all internal and external messaging is accurate and consistent with the organization’s brand. The Communications Specialist will support internal clients with communications-related requests, develop and implement communication plans and strategies, and create content and messaging for internal and external audiences. The role also involves significant engagement with Mi’kmaw communities and other stakeholders throughout Nova Scotia.
