On October 29, 2026, the Chiefs of Nova Scotia (“Chiefs”) made the decision to commence the process to elect the next Regional Chief for the Nova Scotia (NS) region of the Assembly of First Nations (“AFN”).
The Chiefs are seeking submissions from qualified and dedicated candidates who would like to be considered to become the NS Regional Chief.
