Reporting to the Implementation Coordinator, NSP, the Mi’kmaw Environmental Compliance Monitor is responsible for on-site environmental monitoring of various construction and infrastructure projects. This role includes overseeing compliance with Environmental Protection Plans (EPP), documenting observations using GIS-enabled tools, and working collaboratively with contractors, project teams, and Mi’kmaw Community Monitors to ensure consistent adherence to environmental guidelines. The Environmental Compliance Monitor will play a key role in the Wasoqonatl Transmission Line Project and the NS-NB Reliability Intertie from Onslow to New Brunswick.
