In 2017, a community survey was conducted which determined the funds from the Mi’kmaw License Plate would be used for youth events and activities. The sale and renewal of Mi’kmaw license plates generate approximately $20,000 annually and these funds have been held in trust since the release of the plates.

Assembly Highlights – May 25, 2023
The 2021-2022 KMK audited financial statements were presented and approved. KMK presented the EverWind Fuels Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). EverWind Fuels is a private developer of green hydrogen and green ammonia production and storage facilities, in Point Tupper, NS. The MOU a commitment for both parties to work together, in
