Chief Prosper provided an update on the Maw-Kleyu’kik Knijannaq mobile app development. Potential names were discussed for the app and the Chiefs chose Netaway which translates to “I speak”. KMKNO and Ulnooweg provided updates on several of the Assembly’s benefits projects. Ulnooweg also provided an overview of the NS Mi’kmaw Nation Development Corporation. The Assembly requested a dedicated meeting to discuss this new company. Discussions were held about the Assembly’s desire to develop a Benefits Agreement with Atlantic Gold.
